The issue with just relying on school is that your child will never get ahead. Your child's teacher may be great but it's difficult for them to help everyone in more detail... Or perhaps they're not that great and your child is left confused when their class is over.

The environment in school isn't a winning environment, as not everyone wants to do well. 

If relying on school really worked well, then why is it that students still can't get the top grades? All the extra exam classes that schools offer is great. But what if the teacher isn't great, or your child is scared to raise their hand, or even worse... their teacher has made your child doubt their own confidence and ability to succeed? 

Simply put, your child needs a coach to give them the best chance to succeed in their A-Level Maths. They need to be taught by someone who knows what they're doing in a structured process that creates discipline and routine. Allowing them to get in more hours of maths, with understanding and multiple ways of accessing support in the subject. 

If your son/daughter needs better grades, then they need to try a different approach. Relying on school won't solve the problem. 

Which approach will make your child have a greater level of understanding...

Approach 1: Watching an out-dated non-interactive YouTube video which doesn't even cover the fundamentals?

Approach 2: Being taught interactively where the student is telling the teacher the solution, in a way that covers the core fundamentals of each topic and allows them to understand how to answer difficult exam questions effortlessly? 

Pretty obvious right.

The issue with YouTube is that no-one is teaching your child interactively. YouTube just covers some exam problems which is great. But the reason why your son/daughter is struggling is because they are lacking the true understanding of each topic and have weak foundations in A-Level Maths. 

What happens is students watch YouTube videos & try to memorise exam questions. That's a band-aid fix. Because when they're presented with an unfamiliar exam question... They freeze. Because they don't know what is going on. 

They claim they 'get the topic but can't do the exam question'... When in reality they don't understand the whole topic at all. 

In our process we get students to have rock solid foundations on every topic. We get them to understand the basics, teach them interactively using our 'neuro-cognition' teaching style and get them to confidently break down the TOUGH exam questions with ease. 

They're able to do this because they understand what's going on. 

They only way to help your child get better at A-Level Maths is to help them understand it. 

Quite a few reason why this is a major problem.

1) Face-to-face tuition is actually inconvenient in this day and age.There's the travelling, traffic, paying for petrol, checking the air pressure... Then going home... Then going back again to pick them up.

In that time spent travelling, your child could have understood another topic in their A-Level Maths. 

2) When a tutor visits the house you have to cover their travel fee.

3) With this pandemic across the world, why would you risk your child getting ill and spreading it to others in the family if you went to tuition in person? The last thing you want is for them to be self-isolating and missing school work. 

4) Most Face-to-Face tutors are just homework assistants. They fix the current problem. But they never provide a structure to help your child get ahead. They'll usually ask your child 'what do you want to do today?' which is lazy. Yes there is a time and place for helping your child on current problems they're stuck on. But they also need to be following a structured program simultane

5) Face-to-Face tutors cannot create a learning portal with recorded lessons. For your child to get the maximum benefit of additional tuition they need to be able to re-watch lessons, follow a structured program to get them ahead, have the ability to get support on what they're currently stuck and have access to a plethora of resources designed to help them understand each topic from the ground up. 

Face to Face tutors cannot offer this service. And it's this service that your child needs to be able to succeed. 

Most people see a face to face tutor once per week. But we all know the more times you can see your tutor during the week the better your results will be. Which is why online tutoring is a more powerful option. 

Your child needs to be following a step by step structured online program which helps them get in more hours of maths and allows them to have many different avenues of support.
